You Don’t Have to Be an Expert to Watermark Your Image with WinWatermark Software
Without spending a lot of money and having expert graphic knowledge, there are few options to safeguarding your digital image. No one can completely foolproof that precious image from being stolen, but there are a few economical ways to make it harder to steal.
You may choose to overlap tables and images, which when clicked on by the user only allows the top layer, or nulled image, to be copied and moved, but not anything below it.
You can also section an image, so that when the user clicks to copy the picture, only part of the picture copies. They will not get the entire image at one time.
Maybe you would prefer the rollover image. At first, your picture is all that is seen on the screen, but when the mouse rolls over it, a word or picture graphic appears over the top of it. The rollover word or graphic will be all that can be copied, not your image.
These are great options if you do not want the public to be able to download or copy and paste your image into one of their files, but what if you do?
What if you want your image to be used and for you or your company to get the credit? What if you want your name to be seen?
Then you would want to look at the watermarking option through our free watermarking program, for sure. It is cheap and effective for allowing the outsider to copy or download one of your pictures, but with your company logo watermark over the top of it.
You can choose simple but direct words like, “Copyright Use Only,” or “By Permission Only,” or “Created by your name here.” You can choose a company or personal icon, or the date that you created it.
WinWatermark software creates invisible watermarking to place over your image so your creation is clearly visible, but the watermark can also be seen. The two come as a package deal and depending on how dark you make your watermark, cannot easily be separated.
